In Mac® OS X 10.4 and earlier, the system immutable flag can only be disabled when the computer is started up in single-user mode. In Mac OS X 10.5 and later, the system immutable flag can also be enabled or disabled by: Software operating with root privileges. I have not tested this yet. I'll try to fix any problems as soon as I can; however please keep in mind that I don't own a Mac and probably won't be able to fix any Mac-specific issues myself. It is very easy to record high quality video these days but editing those clips out to share the interesting moments can be really time consuming. Fire up a video editor on mobile or desktop and then load the video, scrub through it to find the relevant points and then edit the video before the interesting bits can be shared. What if the process became more simple? That is what Flagg’it envisions. It’s a solution that allows you to flag the best moments of your activities while videos are being recorded, thus drastically reducing editing time.

The way this works is that every time you wish to “drop a flag,” you press the device. The mark will automatically pop up on the video timeline so you’ll know where to look when editing, eliminating the need to watch the whole video just to find the interesting part. It is very practical for people who use action cameras, like GoPro, to record intense activities like snowboarding or base-jumping.

By Alexander Fox / Feb 7, 2019 / Mac Flags are used by macOS to limit how a file can be changed. They’re set differently from permissions and run in a parallel structure alongside commands like chown and chmod. You’ll be using chflags to change flags, as well as ls to view flags. How to add your country’s flag in Mac menu bar On your Mac launch the Systems Preferences application. Once you have launched it click on the ‘Keyboard’ icon. Now from the top click on the ‘Input Sources’ tab.
Software is also provided with the Flagg’it remote which makes it even easier to share the flagged moments within seconds. The device itself is compatible with all kinds of cameras as long as they support audio recording.
Flagg’it is a crowdfunding project on Kickstarter that’s seeking $50,000 to bring the device to production. Pledging $59 now will reserve a unit for you which is 25 percent off the retail price. Shipment is expected to begin in July 2015.

darkwake=0
Disable wake up of certain parts of your Mac from sleep, while leaving other parts in sleep mode. This feature often messes up sleep on Hackintoshes. Enter darkwake=1 to turn it on, if turning it off doesn’t do the trick). if your verbose boot is freezing be sure to remove SleepEnabler.kext completely by deleting it from either /Extra/Extensions or /System/Library/Extensions in your hard drive.

GraphicsEnabler=No orGraphicsEnabler=Yes
It’s turned on by default when you set up your Hackintosh with latest Multibeast. Certain graphics cards (AMD Radeon cards), may make Mac OS X unable to boot, or cause the graphics in Mac OS X to display incorrectly. If this is the case use this flag. Turning GraphicsEnabler off will break DVD Player, most games, video and audio editing apps etc… NVIDIA 600 series no longer require GraphicsEnabler to work with OSX so turning off GraphicsEnabler won’t cause any problems.
